For our friends with significant disposable incomes and the urge to find a truly special hotel-spa-dining adventure, Denver’s Hotel Monaco is celebrating its 10th anniversary by offering two Decadent Decade packages that include 10 exclusive experiences for $10,000.
The Klimpton hotel opened in downtown Denver on Oct. 1, 1998, the same year, the hotel notes, that Google and Viagra entered the public lexicon, Monica Lewinsky became the best-known White House intern and the Denver Broncos finally won a Super Bowl.
To celebrate the past decade, the decadence packages give two guests:
– Two nights in one of the hotel’s music-themed suites. They include the John Lennon suite, Grace Slick suite, Miles Davis suite and more.
– A bottle of Cristal champagne with two Tiffany crystal champagne glasses and hand-dipped, gold-leafed strawberries.
– The John Lennon lyrics currently hanging in the hotel’s John Lennon Suite to take home.
– A behind-the-scenes private tour at the Denver Art Museum, featuring the new Daniel Libeskind-designed wing.
– A private concert by Denver musician Angie Stevens with the option of taking a guitar lesson from the artist.
– Spa treatments for two at the on-site Aveda Renaissance Spa: a Gold Facial and Himalayan Rejuvenation Treatment.
– Dinner at Panzano, repeatedly ranked one of Denver’s Top 10 restaurants, featuring contemporary Northern Italian cuisine. Chef Elise Wiggins will create a special meal for two at the private chef’s table with specialty wines and champagne.
– On-demand limo service for the weekend, with an itinerary of the best places to hear live music in Denver.
– Private shopping at John Atencio jewelers with wine and cheese and a private showing of the jewelry collection, with a $1,500 gift certificate to use toward any purchase.
– Two hand-selected, exclusive shirts from Denver’s iconic Rockmount Ranchwear with, if possible, the opportunity to meet founder Jack Weil, the 107-year-old inventor of the snap-front cowboy shirt.
Only two 10-year packages will be sold, and each must be reserved at least two weeks in advance. For more information, go to www.monaco-denver.com. To make reservations, guests must call the hotel directly at 303-296-1717.
