The Krug Room, located beneath Mayfair and within the Dorchester Hotel’s master kitchens, is a stunningly designed, high-tech chef’s dining room. It’s the perfect blending of The Dorchester and Krug, the Champagne of Kings. Here, diners have the unique opportunity to watch their food being prepared under the personal direction of The Dorchester’s renowned executive chef, Henry Brosi.
The Krug Room offers deep-red leather chairs around a specially commissioned glass table designed by Nick Allen. Full length mirrors on the rear wall and the full height glass screen ensure that all diners can enjoy an uninterrupted view of the kitchen’s workings, while retaining the privacy and quiet of a private room.
What’s on the menu? You name it, they’ve got it. The menus give diners the chance to sample some of Henry Brosi’s most inspired dishes, and he is personally on hand to explain their philosophy and preparation throughout the meal.
And the Champagne list? All Krug, all the time: Krug Grande Cuvée, Krug Clos du Mensil 1992, Krug Collection 1981 and 1979, Krug Vintage 1990, and Krug Rosé. Other unique Krug vintages are available upon request, as well as The Dorchester’s full wine list.
The cost? whether You can choose from a 3-course lunch or a 10-course dégustation dinner. Also, a wide selection of sample menus is available, with prices starting from £80 for a 3-course lunch, and from £95 for a 4-course dinner, including amuse bouche.
