Which Are The 50 Best Restaurants In The World?

The votes are in from a recent poll published by Restaurant Magazine of the world’s 50 best restaurants, as chosen by 560 chefs, critics and restauranteurs.

The results are an international stew of well-known names and places you may never have heard of. Bring your appetites. And most of all, bring your big fat wallets because these places are worth every penny.

• Best of the Best is El Bulli in Northern Spain.
• Second Place is Britain’s Fat Duck, the former #1, which is known for its snail porridge and a sorbet featuring sardine-on-toast.
• Napa Valley’s French Laundry was fourth overall, but voted as the best restaurant in North and South America.
• Berkeley’s Chez Panisse was voted the 20th best in the world.
