These Dinners Make Perfect Sense! New York

I just read what Dan Barber, Executive Chef, Blue Hill at Stone Barns, is planning and it sounds fascinating…

The Five Senses Dinner Series

Chef Barber is offering an exciting series of dinners, down at the farm, to benefit Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture, featuring renowned artists, thinkers, movers and shakers. Each dinner will highlight one of your senses, beginning with SMELL, on April 6th.

The four-course dinner will feature aromatic farm-fresh seasonal ingredients, and unique scent pairings will be provided by Christopher Broisus, an award-winning perfume designer. Also on board, to help guide you through your sensory culinary journey will be Rachel Herz, a leading smell psychologist! ( Wonder if her business card is a scratch-n-sniff?)

In the following months the other four senses will each be highlighted in an equally creative manner. Check out Blue Hill at Stone Barns website http://www.bluehillfarm.com/
to see which one tickles your tongue and imagination.
