The Tab Is Sky High, Too :: Dinner In The Sky, Belgium

I’ve dined in treetop restaurants in Australia, gobbled down warm cookies and champagne at 35,000 feet, and toasted my wife with fine wine atop mountains in Colorado, British Columbia, California and New Zealand.

But for a really sky high dining experience, you can try Dinner in thy Sky. It’s the brainchild of Quentin Jadoul, a chef from Belgium, and it’s basically a long table that seats 20, serves gourmet meals, and is held 50 meters into the sky by a crane. Waiters included.

Better yet, it’s got wheels, meaning you can order it to come to any city on the European continent. So if you’ve got an extra $20,000 to enjoy great views, great service, and equally great food with wine, enjoy a dinner where the sky’s the limit.
