Sweet Dreams Are Made of This: Chocolate Ice Cream Cake

My daughter Sara and I made this for some friends a few nights ago in about 5 minutes. You start with a bundt Angel Food Cake (can be store bought), slice it in half horizontally with a thread.

Take off the top cake layer. Add a layer of sliced vanilla or chocolate chip from a box (or brick) of ice cream. Pour 1/2 of an 8-oz. can of Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup on the ice cream. Put the top layer of cake back on the top. Pour the rest of the Hershey’s on top and inside the middle.
Freeze for at least 4 hours. Serves 8 and everyone will lick his or her plate clean — guaranteed!
