Call it aerobic shopping. Call it running and shopping. Or call it the Nike Women’s Marathon or the first-ever Nike Half-Marathon.
Today, I’m proud to join my wife, daughter and about 15,000 other mostly women to walk this fundraising event for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through the streets of San Francisco. Beginning at Niketown in Union Square, we’ll travel through downtown, over to The Embarcadero, around the perimeter of the city through Fort Mason and the Presidio to the Golden Gate Bridge. Crossing under the span, we’ll walk due west to Ocean Beach, then enter Golden Gate Park where we’ll finish our 13.1 mile trek.
