Office Make-Over Time?

Interior Design Hall of Famer, Warren Platner, was among the less flamboyant of the 60s modernism interior designers, yet he earned an international reputation for the steel wire furniture he created as well as designing the famous “Windows on the World Restaurant” in the World Trade Center.

Each piece in his collection for KnollĀ® requires as many as 1,000 welds and demonstrates Platner’s belief that there is room in modernism “for the kind of decorative, gentle, graceful design that appeared in a period style like Louis XV.” I don’t know how Louis XV styled out his castle but I do know that I’d give these iconic cafe-cool pieces a place in my office any day.
