Canmore has fast become the place to go in the Rocky Mountains. Only about 20 minutes from the busier Banff, it has grown to offer all conveniences of Banff, but has avoided the large crowds. Mytic Springs is the newest boutique hotel in the area. The intimate resort has been receiving rave reviews. It is located on the newer side of the highway near Cougar Creek and Silver Tip Golf Courses.
