It’s About Time :: Chicago’s 1st Annual Restaurant Week- Eat It Up!

Since I’ve had many a great meal in Chicago I don’t know why it took so long for them to celebrate “Restaurant Week”, but after reviewing the 40 restaurants in this year’s line up, they are certainly making up for lost time. You’ll have the chance to enjoy special three-course lunches for $21.95 and prix-fixe dinners for $31.95 (excluding all beverages, tax and gratuity) at many of the city’s finest restaurants.

Try some exotic spice; nibble some samplings from the sea; or dress -up for 5-star sophistication. Of course, being Chicago, there’s no shortage of great steakhouses to choose from….standards like Smith & Wollensky or Ruth’s Chris –but I’d hit speed dial and try to get a reservation at David Burke’s new Primehouse. And I’ve heard rave reviews about Aigre Doux, which is also participating.
