Infusing A Pop Culture Persona: Best Western Miyako Inn, San Francisco

The Best Western Miyako Inn has been an anchor of the Japantown restaurant and shopping center for decades.

Now, there’s a public contest to rename it while its new owners, the fashionable travel geniuses at Joie de Vivre Hospitality, the largest boutique hotel operators in California, remake its 125 rooms. They’ll even name one suite for the namer of the new hotel.

“I think it’s a first,” said Matt Harvey, JdV’s Creative Director. The contest ends October 23. Enter your name here. Or just drop by the hotel at 1800 Sutter Street nera Fillmore in San Francisco’s Japantown. Read the story at SFGate.com.
