Cool Canal & Hot Fashions: Canal St.-Martin, Paris

I love Paris in the winter more than the spring or summer. Why? Because everywhere you want to go — The Louvre, The Rive Gauche, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, The Orsay, et.al — is not overflowing with American tourists or European travelers.

Now, according to our friends at The Informed Traveler, the newest “in” neighborhood in Paris is in the 10th Arrondisement. They say “Canal St. Martin is the place to be, and Chez Prune, the place to be seen. A buzzing, convivial ambience, complete with brooding bearded artists and haute coutre-clad fashionistas…”
