Bahama Mama: Atlantis, Paradise Island Resort
After outplaying, outwitting and outlasting “Survivor: All-Stars” in 2004, Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich got hitched in April at one of the world’s swankiest joints: Atlantis Resort. It’s no wonder Britney Spears stays here. So does Paris Hilton — and she doesn’t even get the Hilton Family discount.

When I visited Atlantis on a cruise ship layover a few years back, I couldn’t believe how much this resort offers. One draw is the waterscape of 11 million gallons of water, more than 50,000 animals — many of them indigenous to the Bahamas –– and 11 exhibit lagoons. With all this, it’s the world’s largest aquarium.

This place also has a tremendous casino with about 1,000 slots, table games from Blackjack and Baccarat to Craps, Roulette, and Caribbean Stud Poker; four towers with 2,300 hotel accommodations from world-class luxury suites to my kind of lower-priced rooms; over 20 restaurants including Murray’s Deli and Jimmies Ice Cream that my family enjoyed; waterslides, pools and beaches to take advantage of the hot Caribbean sun; a marina with 63 yacht slips; and The Dig, an archeological tribute to the Lost City of Atlantis that incorporates parts of the resort’s aquarium.

Prices start at about $30o US per room and go as high as $25K/night for the Bridge Suite. Atlantis Resort
