A Square Deal For Airport Boutiques: YOTEL!, London

We’ve all stayed in airport hotels. They’re usually big chains with the usual room, a restaurant on the roof, and a convenient location at the terminal.

But if you want some “aspirational luxury at a low cost,” this summer, the YO! Group will open a 40-room hotel at London’s Heathrow, followed by a 50-roomer at Gatwick, then a central London hotel next year.

Their “cabins” are 10m x 10m, but offer something you’ve probably never seen before: rotating double beds, pull-down desks, monsoon shower, flat screen TV and Wi-Fi access. Book them for four hours at a time to take a nap, grab a quickie, stretch out a layover, or stay overnight.
