When I think of Austria, I think of strudel, viener schnitzel, the Alps, beautiful greenery, and warm hospitality. Now, a team of Austrian architects have thought about how to create a great summer home escape.

They’re designed gorgeous four-story holiday villas overlooking Lake Millstatter See on the site of a former hotel. By adding exposed brickwork outside and smooth furniture inside, they’re transformed a 1950s style building into a modern, warm and organic feeling, with plenty of glass.
