Combe House is a Grade 1 Elizabethan Manor House, it’s quaint welcoming and quintessentially English. With a wood panelled Great Hall, ancestral portraits, roaring log fires and Arabian horses roaming the lawns it’s a dream. If you’re looking for an ideal English village this is it according to HRH Prince Charles, if it’s a romantic break this is it. If it’s fine dining then it’s here too.
Set in a 3,500 Devon estate it retains the glory of its heyday with fine antiques and brings us to the modern day with warmth, contemporary touches – it’s a winner with me.
Combe House is a dream and a delight try it and see and like me you’ll want to return, you’ll feel welcomed as a friend and as comfortable as if you’re at home.
It’s won many awards –
AA 3 Red Star
2 Rosettes Inspectors Choice Hotel
