The Red Carpet Dilemma :: A Mini-Whaaat?

I’m sure we can all relate to the on-going problem of what minaudières to use when you are parading down the red carpet that will hold its own next to your lavish gown and precious jewels. (For all you non-crossword puzzle solvers, a is a small ornatmental case often used for an evening bag.) Jewelry designer Osnat Gad, had this exact problem which begat the Ocie concept.

“I wanted a bag that would stand out next to an exquisite piece of jewelry, and I believed that many other women would agree.? Utilizing her expertise in the jewelry industry, Gad set out to create an evening bag suitable to wear with lavish jewelry.She approached each design as creating a work of art, a unique statement.

One year later the Ocie Minaudière collection was unveiled, flawlessly incorporating precious stones into a fashion staple, the evening bag. Designed in New York and expertly hand-crafted in Italy, every minaudière is limited edition, 1 of 50. Each Ocie minaudière is fashioned from only the finest materials; including sterling silver, 18K gold, exotic skins, enamel and precious stones. Only jewelry-quality gemstones and precious stones are selected for Ocie Minaudières, ensuring high quality and brilliant color.

The complete Ocie Minaudière Collection is available at one of my favorite stores in NYC-Takashimaya.
