Get The Classic Taste in ‘The White Rabbit’

The White Rabbit, snuggled in a fastidiously restored old chapel situated off the Dempsey area in Singapore, is a restaurant & bar that proudly takes the honor of serving classic European comfort food and age-old cocktails.

The design team led by Takenouchi Webb and Asylum gladly takes the credit for the classic interiors of The White Rabbit. The team retained the existing essentials as much as possible, in harmony with the owners’ wishes. The features of the chapel like the timber structure, decorative iron window grilles and the mosaic floor tiles have been conserved.

From Lewis Carroll’s classic, “Alice in Wonderland, the owners derived the name “White Rabbit”. Named as The Rabbit Hole, the covered outdoor terrace is a delight; it not only houses an outdoor bar, but also has an access to the garden. The black and white mosaic tiles with an Alice in Wonderland referenced note ‘Drink Me’ emblazoned marks out the bar.

Chef Daniel Sia excels in his work by adding a special touch to the cuisine served. The cocktail carte du jour is an eclectic jumble of the old and new. Cinnamon and Sultana Crusta, based on the Brandy Crusta created in 1852 or the White Rabbit’s version of the popular Cuban Mojito, which they call Black Forest Mojito is the perfect blend of uniqueness and class.
