Dinner for this Year’s Vintners Hall of Fame

The inductees of the 2009 Vintners Hall of Fame have been declared. The hall of fame in the Culinary Institute of America situated in St. Helena, California is dedicated towards honoring all those who have been instrumental in contributed to the wine industry of California.

For the present year, the group includes Gerald Asher – a wine journalist of Gourmet magazine, founders of Schramsberg Vineyards – Jack and Jamie Davies, founder of Kendall-Jackson Estates – Jess Jackson, Carole Meredith – Lagier-Meredith Winery’s co-founder and U.C. Davis Professor, Silver Oak Cellars’ co-founder – Justin Meyer.

The others Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars’ founder – Warren Winiarski, Beringer Vineyards’ founders – Frederick and Jacob Beringer. California Wine and Food Celebration goes on for day. The best thing about it is that you too can take part in it, which will conclude with the Celebrity Chef Walk-Around Reception and Vintners Hall of Fame Induction Dinner at CIA Greystone, on March 14.
