Bio: Warren Edwardes is founder of London, UK based Wine for Spice™ which was created to specify and commission quality wines to complement Indian as well as other spicy food such as Szechwan and Hunan Chinese, Indonesian, Malaysian, Thai and Mexican food.
Former investment banker, Warren Edwardes, developed his taste for wine as a city dealer and as a corporate treasurer and has often been part of winning teams in wine tasting competitions. He is the holder of the Pol Roger Cup 2004 as part of the London Business School Alumni blind tasting team who won the competition against teams from the world’s leading business schools. Edwardes is a also a consultant to wineries, wine regions and wine suppliers on matching spicy food and wine and is a regular speaker globally including at The London International Wine and Spirits Fair, The Institute of Wines and Spirits and The Central London Wine Society. Edwardes is also respected for his views on Wine and Food matching generally.
