The most expensive bottle of water of the world is truly unique. Designed by famous Fernando Altamirano of Tequila Ley, who previously designed the most expensive tequila and cognac bottles of the world and till date holds that record, the 24k gold-coated bottle is based on the artistry of late Italian painter and sculptor Amedeo Clemente Modigliani.
It holds 1.25 ml of blended spring water from the Fiji Islands and France, as well as glacier water from Iceland.
The most expensive bottled water of the world went up for auction on March 4th, 2010.
The earnings from the auction went to the Planet Foundation. However, the stunning bottle itself worth a few thousand dollars.
