I’ve always loved fresh- baked bread, especially when traveling. There’s something about breaking off a steaming hot chunk of bread right out of the oven that helps you capture the taste of the day, whether you’re in Paris, London or San Francisco.
Now, you can get a taste of a French Boulangeries in the SF Bay Area by visiting La Boulange in its new location in Strawberry Village, Mill Valley, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, or at its upcoming location in fashionable Hayes Valley in San Francisco. We tried the former this weekend and it was a true taste of France, from the fresh croissants and quiches to the huge mugs of coffee, which were surprisingly inexpensive! Bon Appetit!
