Group Description: If you have been to any of these magical villages or just LOVE Italy.
great group! I love Italy but I've yet to get to Cinque Terra. My last visit to Italy was last year with my partner and 3 and a half year old son. I was 12 weeks pregnant - hmm, hard going. We visited my aunty who was living in Peschia, an hour out of Pisa. I was able to take my partner to see Florence, Rome and Venice - he'd never been to Italy before.
raising 3 kids jacqui...that definitely deserves a trip back sometime :-)

Hey, have already heard a lot about the Italian Riviera housing the rugged region of Cinque Terre....would like to know more about the interiors and lifestyle, especially about the five villages of Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore.
Awww.....that's such a tempting idea but i have some other plans lined up.....but i can imagine what a great time you are going to have.....this time do not miss out on the opportunity to visit Riomaggiore. This 8th Century town overlooks the sea and you will be amazed to know that steep staircases are the only means to travel around this town. This town shares some portions of the Cinque Terre Natural Park. I would love to know more about your trip to Riomaggiore.
Why only Riomaggiore, even Manarola is an equally great place to visit. In fact, Manarola Vineyard Walk is a beautiful experience. You will come across lemon trees, wild red valerian, rosemary to name some. The other features are a boat ramp, adventuresome swimming, the town square also known as the Piazza Capellini and a lot more. Ava, do let me know if you visit Manarola.
Surely Manarola is a great place for a holiday trip. In fact it is probably the oldest among the towns within the Cinque Terre. Moreover, it is the second smallest among the towns.....and tourists highly frequent this town......
Corniglia is a small village with hardly 240 people living colourful homes. Ava, you should visit this village once at least....it is not so much frequented by tourists.....if you love to enjoy all by yourself then this little town is the ideal place for you....you can spend time alone reading books at the town square and taste some local wine at the cafes.
