Maybe not. Apparently the “new fashionable wines” much, like hemlines and platform shoes, come and go with time. A good marketing technique to revive a tired wine market is to come out with a “new” old favorite. Is it the time for Malbec?

Here’s an idea I support. Instead of cancelling an event in view o the devastation of Hurricane Katrina and disappoint many people without gaining mucha anyway…why not turn it into a fund-raising opportunity for the relief effort?
