French Bliss: Glaces Berthillon

Even when it was snowy, windy and blustery last December, my daughter knew it was worth the wait to get the acknowledged best ice cream in Paris. Glaces Berthillon has a half-dozen storefronts on Ile Saint Louis, the little island on the Seine near Notre Dame, plus dozens of outlets all over the City of Light. It cost us about 3 Euros ($5 US) for a scoop and she savored every creamy lick. In summer, the lines are long. But DO not go to Paris without tasting this world famous treat. Glaces Berthillon
