Crystal Cruises, the specialists in providing luxury, is escalating its 2009 Wine & Food Experience of Discovery to include cocktail and mixology curriculum in addition to its wine and food center. More than two dozens of the world’s most conniving and topical names on the food, cocktail, and wine settings will offer instruction and insights.
The co-proprietor of the renowned Grgich Hills Estate, famed Hawaiian restaurateur Sam Choy, Master Sommelier Robert Bath and Tim Hollingsworth of The French Laundry are among the exciting lineup programmed on board to share their tasty talents, plus, added proficiency from Crystal’s own creative chefs, sommeliers and bartenders are there to add exclusive touch to it. The Wine & Food cruises will provide the guests with brand new demonstration of making cocktails, pastry, etc.
Toni Neumeister, Crystal’s vice president, food and beverage operations, said, “One of the hallmarks of a Crystal vacation is the extraordinary onboard culinary experience. We’re excited to pair our chefs — the cruise industry’s best — with the highest caliber of experts, to offer guests an unparalleled wine and food vacation.”
Some of the world’s rarest wine selections are paired with a multi-course meal. The line’s newly brought in cheese sommeliers will also offer insights to more than 50 kinds from around the world and give pairing proffers.
