Upper Class: Virgin Atlantic’s Clubhouse at London Heathrow

With stunning features, fashionable interiors and private club-like service, the flagship Clubhouse at Heathrow Airport just opened for First Class passengers. Expected to double in size within the next year, the Clubhouse is a getaway without leaving the terminal. Have a sip of champagne or choose a sophisticated cocktail at the 14-metre-long bar. Treat yourself to sushi from the Deli. Take a dip in the poolside lounge with a Japanese water wall. Or indulge yourself at the Cowshed spa with its pool, sauna, steam room, tanning booth and hair salon.

If you’re feeling very hungry, the Clubhouse also has a full kitchen where you can order everything from bangers and mash to sandwiches and salads. Thirsty after a long flight? Treat yourself to drinks and healthy snacks from the poolside lounge.

Want to work or catch up on email? The Clubhouse lounge is fully wireless and laptops are also available for use.

Sounds more like a ritzy hotel than an airport lounge, but all this and more awaits at the Clubhouse at Heathrow Airport.
