Sippin’ Wine in the Willamette: Oregon

Oregon Wine Country is a scenic and romantic destination for wine tasting. And fall is the perfect time to escape to the Willamette Valley.

Every year at Thanksgiving, Oregon’s wineries host special events during the long holiday weekend. A number of wineries that don’t usually open their doors and cellars to the public welcome visitors for exclusive tasings and behind-the-scenes tours. Activities include barrel tastings, open houses and concerts. Visit Oregon Wine Explorer to find out more.

Oregon Wine Country is also giving away vacation packages to five lucky winners. The three-day getaways are the perfect wine ‘n weekend escapes and the packages include accommodations, meals and such as activities as golf, casinos and spas. Destinations are Albany, Corvallis, Eugene, Salem and Mt. Hood. Click HERE to enter. The deadline is November 30, 2006.
